It gets better, people. It can take some time, but everything is going to be alright.
I’m 3 years removed from those thoughts and it’s the best feeling to get up ready for the day. But I used to wake up dreading every day and thinking what event is going to fuck with me that day?
Small things end, the big things get better. It’s hard to recommend patience, but know that there are people behind you, no matter what there is always someone.

Colonel-in-Chief Sir Nils Olav

This king penguin is the mascot for the Norwegian Royal Guard. He has also been knighted by the King of Norway, Harald V. He actually has many more honorary titles, including Honorary Commander of the Royal Norwegian Navy.

He does honor guard inspections and walks and the soldiers in the honor guard all greet him as Colonel Olav. Something lighthearted after such a brutal post towards that anti-gunner.
